89 to 97 ???? YES with minor changes. First couple of years have some differences, then in May 97 they went to the "STORM" block ( Straight Thread O Ring Metric ) instead of pipe threads. This and later blocks ( including ISB -ie: 24V-98. 5-02 ) had a thread-in block heater (3/4 NPTF) and a second turbo drain hole. Why are you asking? Shadrach

I have a 93 W-250, I had to pull the engine a couple years ago, 116,000 miles , had a cracked block. I am thinking about getting another block and putting another engine together. So I wanted to know which years to look for That would work bolting all the 93 componenets to. Thanks!!!

Just make sure it doesn't have a large number "53" cast on the side of it, as they were prone to cracking near the frost plugs under the exhaust manifold. Shadrach
