Has anyone experienced engine chatter while accelerating? After I installed the Quadzilla exzillerator I started getting some chatter and it gets louder as I turn up the dial. I am running stock lift pump and was wondering if that had something to do with it.

I can't be sure, but I would say it is injector rattle being caused by the increased timing, especially since you also have a Rokktec sensor.

My TST did the same thing with the tone ring mod, just too much timing.

I have a stock sensor, no other timing mod other than what is in the Quad Zillaraider STD, and YES I too experienced increased timing rattle. I have it in pos#1 and it gets progressively louder in the following two switch positions. I have considered sending it back to Quad and having the timing reduced in the box programming. Quad himself told me not to worry about it, the rattle was 'normal', everyone seems to report hearing a little. I have yet to decide about having it re-programmed, may just sell it and get something that offers adjustability/programming of the timing at the truck end.

I had a Quad for awhile and they do cause the noise that you described. Hopefully that is the only problem you have. The one I had caused other problems. It was sent back twice and the last time I installed it the engine was hard to start and when it did it sounded like it was coming apart. I also had a mess of codes. Since I live in Canada it cost a lot to ship it back and than brokerage fees etc. to get it back so I just sucked it up and shelved it. The Quad did make power when it worked but I needed reliability.
