Engine code??

I hooked up to the enclosed trailer for the first time this year over the weekend and blew a fuse for the trailer lights. I replaced that and now i have the ABS lights on along with the check engine light. The speedometer and miles are not working either. I had my brother place a scanner on the truck and it came up P500 Vehicle Speed Sensor, and when trying to reset it it kept coming back on. I have checked all the fuses and they are good.

Does anyone have a answer or a suggestion as to what this can be and how to go about fixing it??



My truck is a 2007 Dodge 3500 5. 9 Dually.

Your vehicle speed sensor should be on top of your differential I would start by checking the connector/wires, you mite have to replace the sensor.

FIXED IT!! it was that i had pulled a fuse out of one of the spare blocks and that block was not a spare. . The lid said spare but it was used for the ABS on a diesel truck. any way its fixed.
