0234 is an overboost code.

Fill out your signature so we can see what mods you have... . if any.

If you have put a box on the truck (EZ, FMS, etc. ) or after-market air cleaner, the dealer will make every effort to void your warranty.

Could be that your wastegate seized, or the MAP sensor is getting b!tchy. If you are indeed stock, you should have no trouble with the warranty repairs.

BTW, if that is your best mileage, it is still a little on the low side I think. Let the dealer know the mileage you have been getting. They may need to take a look at the IAT sensor as well.

i am out of warrenty of course -no engine lite -i don,t have gauges yet-asap on that-is this something to definitley have looked at?? Thanks for the info

Definatly an overboost code (Map sensor if working properly saw an excess of 20 PSI) Now If the dealer deems it is in fact the map sensor #7 In diagram Below you can do one of two things ... Buy it from the dealer IF REASONABLE or buy it from cummins Part # 3348750 For less. Or if it turns out to be a wastegate issue (1. 44 Bar setting) And you do not plan on going BIG on hp you can allways get a boost fooler or an EZ and just plain ol enjoy the bennys of having more fuel and power along with boost. :D As I yet to see anyone having a Hardlined wategate actuator hangin arround for an HY35 anyways.
