Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Turbo question

I found this in the current issue (Nov) of Trailer Life. Some of you may already be aware of these but for those of you that don't here they are.

re: 46,000 2002 Dodge Ram pickups. (doesn't specify CTD or gas)

On certain 4 x4's, rear axle flange weld to axle tube could fatigue and allow the brake caliper assembly to rotate.

During the rotation, the brake line could seperate from the caliper, resulting in a brake fluid loss in the rear-brake hydraulic system.

Dealers will install rear-brake caliper reinforcement on the rear axle assembly.

re: 97,500 1997-98 Dodge Ram CTD

The throttle linkage joints can corrode and cause the throttle to bind or stick, increasing risk of crash.

Dealers will replace the rod ends and ball studs.
