Happy Hemi day!

I recently had the instrument cluster replaced on our 2012 RAM 1500 Laramie, 5.7 Hemi due to intermittent illumination LEDs. The odometer was set on the replacement cluster as expected. When I checked the Engine Hours it read "0". Is the Engine Hours reading not able to be set to maintain the truck's historical data?

Keep logs of the hours say a reading with oil change documents. ( I have seen GM clusters "reset" to "0" with low bats, jump starting. )

The logs I do have; way beyond what a normal, sane individual would entertain. Darned Excel spreadsheets are so easy to generate in too much detail. It just looks odd to see a data set progression, then go from 2904 hours to 4. Information I would need to pass to a subsequent owner. Yes, it is logged into the spreadsheet in detail. OK...I'm really (fill in the blank) about little things. Maybe has something to do with having been "SAC"umcised in the USAF, and maybe a little too much time on my hands. ;)o_O:D
