Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Engine installation question

I'm putting a Cummins ,its from a 92 ,I know not much on the power but I'm going to run what I have for now .

The truck is a 98 v 10 truck I took it out in peaces .

Do I need to lift the cab or will it go in with out lifting the cab ?

Any help with expertise I'd appreciate thanks !!!!

I've never lifted the cab, but it would make the installation a little easier.

So what did you do just set it at a angle then ,how did you hook to the back of the engine with the install ring or right to the block?

I used head bolts because the rear lifting eye is too far back to use.

OK , Thanks I was thinking about making a flat bar to mount in place of the ring ,was there any issues by retorqing the head ??

Put a 4x4 on each side of front part of cab on top of frame and it goes in really Nice using lifting eye's

Were did you attach the engine tilt ?

IIRC to a front head bolt and to one between the #4 & 5 rockers.
