Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Engine Issues

The other night driving home suddenly the engine started shaking very badly and blowing black smoke. Pulled over un-plugged the ez edge and stated it up still does it. the starts right up and builds a bit of boost while in park but the whole truck just shakes. It was running at normal temp and FP was at 14psi.

any ideas? where to start looking? thanks

Check air filter & has it collasped.

ITs and AFE mega cannon and it is intact, the guage still reads air flow OK
