My son's '02 has codes P1757 and 1762 and he said his auto is not acting right.

Also has code P1693.

Any help?

Thanks, Ron

My book shows two causes for P1757-

P1757 - GOV Press not equal to target @ 15-20 psi - The requested pressure and the actual pressure are not within a tolerance band for the Governor Control System which is used to regulate governor pressure to control shifts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear (Zero Pressure Malfunction)

P1757 - GOV Press above 3 psi in gear with 0 mph - Governor pressure greater than 3 psi when requested to be 0 psi

P1762 - Governor Press Sensor Offset Volts Too Low or Too High - The Governor Pressure Sensor input is greater than a calibration limit or is less than a calibration limit for 3 consecutive park/neutral occurences.

And the 1693 is just a code that is set whenever any other codes is set in the computer.
