Engine light on 28870 miles

Hi everyone I need some help I have a 2012 with 28870 miles and today I took the truck out and in 20 minutes the light came on I checked everything out and looks good any help is appreciated.

Get yourself AlfaOBD and the truck will tell you what's wrong.

There is no way around diagnostics when it comes to work on a fully computerized vehicle.

Some also try the "let's throw parts at it" method... sometimes it works, sometimes not.

How old are your batteries?

Thanks for your time.
The batteries are 8 years old when the truck was new. I fueled up today and the light went out could it be water in the fuel I'm the second owner.

Highly suggest getting new batteries. Weak batteries on that truck era cause lots of gremlins.

That old of batteries need replacement safe a lots of odd lights and codes.
