Engine light on, rpm guage not working.

I've got an 03' SO with a quadzilla 140hp box on it. Yesterday i was taking off from a stop sign and it started cutting out and then the rpm guage quit working and the engine light came on. I unhooked the batteries but nothing. Is this a code that will have to be cleared by the dealer?

When I lost the tach on my 99 it was a loose crank sensor plug. I ordered a new cranck sensor but when we went to install it I noticed the plug was loose. I wiggled around until it set and it work great until I sold the truck 50k miles later.
