Engine Light stayed on today when I moved my truck after sitting for 2 days. Is there anything I shod look for or do? I have to go 100+ miles to a job site 1st thing in the morning.

Thanks

You have to check for service codes. Turn the truck key to the run position then off 3 times ending in the run position and the odometer will start flashing code numbers. Let us know what the numbers are and we can tell you whats wrong. If you do a search you may find a better description for the code reader proceedure if my breif description is not clear.

Hmmm, is the check engine light still on? Try the, "Turn the truck key", procedure again. You may not have done it correctly the first time. It's not likely the the check engine light is faulty.

Happened to me a few times already. Every time so far it went away soon after reseating the fuel cap, even when it felt like it was good. Mine 06.

I went to AutoZone they scanded my truck, P2609, no voltage drop seen from the intake air heaters. Where do I go from here?

Batteries good, have you had them tested?

Either a grid heater problem or a relay as a start.
