A guy with an 02' 24v has been at the pulls this past year. the runs real good, but it lopes like crazy! He says he doesnt have a cam or anything in it, but he put in a resistor or a box somewhere, i cant remember. Does anyone know how hes doing this? And does it gain anything other than sound? Just curious... thanks!

Usually, a lope comes from very large extrude honed injectors. I've heard that haisleys connector tubes can cause a lope also, but I don't know that for sure.

Most aftermarket cams make idle smoother.

I know exactly what your talking about... ... . tried the bigger connector tubes and that's not it! Maybe bigger lines and tubes?
