My '06 is coming up on 60,000 miles. I change all the fluids and filters when required. I used to have the valves on my '98 12 valve set every 60,000 miles. What is the valve set schedule for the '06?

Anything else on the engine I need to maintain? Like injector, fuel pump, turbo, is there a timing chain that needs replacement? Should I be thinking of replacing a fuel pump soon or anything else? The surpentine belt?

Thanks,

Jeff

No timing chain on these engines (thank God). Your OEM lift pump is in the tank, and on your truck, as far as I've read, if it goes bad, you'll know, and will not start. Unlike the 2 gen. 24V. The valves are supposed to be adjusted at 150000 mls, but I think sooner is better. I replaced my belt at 70000 mls. I'm sure more people will post their experiences too.
Good luck.
Ilian
