Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Engine Malfunction light

Seems the last couple of times I've romped on it a little the yellow engine malfunction light on the dash illluminates. Nothing seems amiss and it resets itself after an over night rest. Anyone else notice this? I'm suspecting the EZ has something to do with it. Thanks.

Have you checked for codes?



Cyle the ignition key on, off, on, off, on and leave it on on the third one.



Watch the odometer.



Post any codes you come up with.

Thanks Kat, I'll have to try that the next time it happens. It has reset itself this AM. Cycling the ignition key didn't produce anything.
