Engine misfire at high RPM

I've got a question anyone notice their engine misfireing in nutural around 25500 RPM? The truck runs normal under load. I know that my milage is getting up there (117880 miles and counting) I noticed it at a stop light I reved the engine and as it got close to 2500 rpm it started to miss as the rpm increased it got worse. The engine is 100% stock NO MODS.
