Looking for a clue here. I bought a used PDR HX35 with a 12cm housing from off the TDR website. Looked very good, was clean and tight. Put in on and pulled my 5er to San Diego and back with 0 problems. It is a little slower spooling, but much improved midrange-. Yesterday I noticed driving empty, flat ground, no load, 65 mph, the motor begins to run rough and you can feel it in the steering wheel. if you goose it slightly it clears right up and stays smooth for 2-3 minutes then goes back to running rough. faster or slower it doesn't act up at all. looks like it only occurs at 1800 rpm +/_ 50 rpm.

No codes, fuel pressure is 16, EGT is 600, turbo pres. is about 1. 5 to 2 lbs. convertor locked.

I had a problem running rough in the past, caused by a damaged injector that toasted#6 piston, this is not the same. It creeps up on you, at first it feels like a bad road, then you give it a little fuel and it cleans up.

Before I swap back to the HY maybe there is something else I can look for??
