The guy across the street from me has an 03' 2500 4x4 Auto with 103000 miles. He is experiencing a miss at highway speeds after 2 hours of driving or more. On short trips to work, store, or wherever, there is no miss. The only thing I could think of is an injector problem. Has anyone else had a problem like this?

John

Any mods on this truck?

I was talking with the diesel tech at the local dodge dealer trying to figure out what my miss was in my second gen and he told me that the o-rings on the injector transfer tubes leak fuel and cause a miss on 3rd gens. When I pulled my transfer tubes I could see a leak path but my problem was the injection pump. Try replacing the o-rings... its not much more than $10 in parts.
