Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I got an opportunity to drive a 2006 BigHorn last night... 3500 SRW, auto (blah!), 4wd... 14k miles.
I know there have been discussions recently about trucks getting "louder" with miles, myself included. With 138k on the clock, I felt my truck was as loud as a 2nd gen 24-valve. That was until last night...
I drive this truck around for about 30 minutes... it didn't seem any quieter (in the cab) than mine. In fact, I'm not too sure mine isn't quieter than this 2006... and I know I thought the 2006 was quieter from the outside originally.
So a lot of it might just be us thinking our rig seems louder, when in reality, they aren't...
So, before you throw in the towel, drive another truck and see how yours compares...
