Engine Oil Cooler? Anybody using one??

Has anybody out there installed an Engin oil cooler out infront of the radiator and if so, who make it and is it worth the trouble. I working at setting up for heavy towing.

You already have an oil cooler. You really think you need two!

You will not be able to create enough heat with your current setup that would ever get you in trouble. Many of these trucks running lots more fuel then stock and pulling extreme loads with no changes to cooling and no problems

Thank you, thats what I needed to know. I was not sure if the one built in would be enough during a summer run down south with a 5th wheel. Thanks

I dont think you could fit one if you wanted one anyhow. That grill has NO room for anything. One way i actually lowered my oil temps by about 15-20 degrees was adding the Amsoil dual bybass. The extra surface area from the aluminum adaptor, bradied lines, the aluminum filter block and the 2 filters makes for a giant heat sink.
