cummins stand on biodiesel

In Publication # 3810205 it states that if useing Kerosene to operate the engine, new lube oil is to be used. So I take it that used lube oil offers no lube properties????????

Come on! Used oil still lubricates! Cummins just wants to be sure that what you put in the tank and through the fuel system that THEY have to warranty is clean!

I toured the engine assembly plant down here in Mexico a few years ago and was told by the rep who gave me the tour that the factory filter will filter out ANYTHING harmful to the fuel system... except things that can be disolved in the fuel. Keep the used oil as clean as possible and the filter will do the rest!
