Hey gents,

I'm looking at a window sticker and dealer info on a new 2014 3500 6.7 Cummins / Aisin combo. It's a crew cab pickup not a C&C. There is a deal going on it. May be my lucky day or may be something the dealer is having trouble selling. The dealer web page for the truck says "350hp" and "660 ft. lbs. torque". This may be just because it's standard text and they have t wrong for the truck, or is that engine REALLY available in 2014 with the Aisin trans?

I would think it should say AT LEAST 370/800 (if not 385/880 or whatever the Aisin combo is supposed to get). It's a single rear wheel and it's NOT a max tow (obviously with SRW) so I'm guessing it's a 370/800 and the dealer text is just wrong, but there's no engine code on the window sticker. Probably one on the truck somewhere. Anyone know what the 2014 engine codes are and where on the truck?

I'm just worried that the truck was produced far enough back in 2013 maybe to have not gotten the 2014 engine even though it got the Aisin trans.

Thanks WC. I think Allpar is right: The 350/660 is the Manual Trans; the 370/800 is the 68RFE and the 385/850 is the Aisin.

It appears that the 385/850 comes in ANY truck with the Aisin, even if it's not the Max Tow, as there seems to be no option for the 370/800 if the Aisin is in the truck, EVEN if the truck is a SRW with a 3.42 rear end (the only one available in the 3500 SRW).

Those dealer descriptions are notoriously wrong. I've seen 400 ft/lbs on some 2014 dealer descriptions. Look on the door sticker and it will tell you the date it was made. I'm sure It's going to be at least 800 ft/lbs unless it's a manual transmission then it's 660 ft/lbs. Go to any dealer's site and look up the description on one of there trucks and you'll see some crazy torque values. I think they are generalizing and covering the gas engine in the description .

The options lists are tricky to read. The left column or top half (depending on which you're reading) gives the base specs, which apply unless overridden by the options listed in the right column/bottom half.
