engine performance

My fuel guage has not been properly working for some time. I have not been concerned with it because I go by my mileage as to how much fuel I have remaining. But, I filled-up the other day and it appeared the fuel guage was temporarily working. I say all this because the engine seem to be running smoother, and I seem to have more accleration power. Is there a connection here?

No, fuel gauge has nothing to do with engine performance. Good to hear it's running better. Dodge has had problems with the fuel gauge/sending units. My 94 had gauge problems and like yours I went by mileage.

1995 2500 CC, auto, 3. 54, Amsoiled, 231K and running strong, still looking for my cat & muff that fell off last year. If anybody finds it you can keep it.
