FYI

I just bought the snap-on engine barring tool. THEN I found out it has a 1 year warranty. I checked on the delivery valve socket and other timing tools and found out the same warranty applies.

Miller's catalog states they have a limited lifetime warranty. But they are a bit more expensive than snap-on and you have to pay shipping.

Oh well... not matter how much research you do there will always be something that pops up.

That bites.

Snap-on has some wierd warranties. I purchased a very expensive torque wrench with lifetime warranty from them thinking,if it ever broke, the Snap-on guy is here every week and it will be fixed. Well,it finally broke a few years later, snapped off at the pivot for the ratchet head. Turns out they cover everything BUT the pivot for the head. It only had one year warranty. Cost of that piece was almost 2/3 the price of the whole thing. ARRGH !!
