2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Engine running with doors locked

Can someone tell me if you can leave your truck running and lock the doors and when you return open the doors with the DC remote. Have not tried it yet but does anyone now if it will do this. I have the remote keyless entry with DC alarm sytem.

Yes, you have to lock the doors with the remote, and then unlock with the remote. Don't forget to take the remote with you!

Yes you can, works fine, I do it all the time, I hate to shut the truck down, just for a quick trip into store, etc. You will have to lock the doors via the remote though, mine won't let you lock 'em with the door switch, when the door is open, not sure what year that was started in, but it is a nice feature. It also won't let me lock the doors if the lights are on.

i have many times just need to lock the doors with the remote they will not lock with the door button. although i do not have an alarm but i dont think it will be any different.

Musta started a while after mine was made. My truck will let you lock yourself out no matter what the curcumstances are, DAMHIK

Just get a Red or Blue Heeler! Cheap Theft Deterrent, and great Companion! I can go into the store, for long periods of time, leave the truck running, unlocked, and not have to worry about people messing with my truck! My dog is very territorial, and does not let anyone in without my presence!
