I have always been around the 24 valve crowd, now I need to learn some newer info. I am looking for data on 6. 7 manufactures suggested services, I think there is a big one around 67,000 miles. Can somebody provide a link or data on this service info. Thanks a ton!!

I do not have my owner's manual in front of me right now but I do know that you need to service the CCV filter (replace) and clean the EGR cooler if so equipped. There maybe other items that will need to be serviced but I do know these two for sure. Geno's Garage sells the CCV filter and a kit to clean the EGR cooler; full kit part number is EGR1 for $115. 00 or no filter kit EGR2 for $45. 00. Or you can buy just the filter for $76. 95 part number CV520010 from Geno's.

EGR service at 67,500 miles up through 2012 models. It is a lot of work, and was discussed in TDR magazine. Beginning with 2013, no EGR service is required.
