In October I purchased a 2002 Dodge Diesel which had 60k miles on it. It runs fine and has plenty of power. However, I have noticed that under certain conditions, in addition to hearing the normal injector noise, I hear what could be described as a sound like preignition tinkle. When I decelerate the injector sound is reduced and the tinkle, what ever it is, disappears. Is this normal, and if not what might be the cause?
Thanks,
Ira
