This is hard to explain but on occasion the truck just dosen't feel like it's running smooth, I wouldn't call it a miss, and it certainly idles very smooth, but sometimes when you accelerate it feels like a shudder with no real loss of power. I might try a fuel additive an see if that helps. It's intermittant and sometimes won't happen for weeks. Anyone else experience anything like this? I'm wondering if one of the injectors is getting clogged.

Something similar

Happens to my truck when I accelerate from a stop. There is a slightly deeper growl between 850 and 1000 rpm. Same thing idling in neutral. I never noticed it until I got the fueling box and the injectors, but then again I never paid attention, either. I kind of stumbled into it a couple of months ago. It actually sounds kinda cool.

When mine is clold and below 1500 rpm it is super quiet. I think it has to do with the load on the engine... or how the computer learns about the load and applies fuel.
