when i rev my engine with no load from idle i get a tiny sputter @ 2000 rpm it revs the same speed up to 3400 rpm but just was wandering if any of you have seen/heard of this thank you in advance. Shell

If the OF valve doesn't do the trick advancing the timing to 15* or a little more should help.

Also if the two sets of springs aren't balanced properly on the GSK that could cause sputtering too.

This kind of thing is normal when the engine is cool, but shouldn't happen when warmed up.

timing is @16. 5 and of valve is 1500 miles old, whatta u mean about the balance of the gov springs? thank you, shell

I'm talking about the retainer for the gov springs, if they're not clicked back down to the same spot they were for the stock springs (or if each side isn't the same number of clicks) that could cause a stumble.

Don't think the cam plate would have an affect on that.
