the engine is stalling with my foot on the brake going from park to drive, drive to reverse etc.

after stalling it takes some cranking to get it started again. act's like air in the system.

this truck always fired as soon as the switch was engaged.

fuel pressure is 26 -28 at the pump test port.

this all started about 900 miles ago when i took the bullydog 3's out and installed the 6's. it did it a few times at first but seemed to quit so i figured some air was trapped in the system and it worked itself out but now it is getting worse.

the 6's were bought used with approx. 3k miles on them. i also think they were used on a drugged truck. could it be bad injectors ?

the truck is headed to the dealer this week for a new power steering/vacuum pump but i dont want them to investigate the stalling problem if i dont have to.

My truck was doing the same thing when I added a PDR HX40, 4 inch exhaust and stage 3 injectors. It was suggested that I have a software flash done at the dealer and so far it has corrected the problem. It is a real pain in the tush when this is happening. The tsb number is 18-014-01. The problem got worse as it got hotter outside. Bill K. said to get this flash.

i will try the 18-014-01. i cant find it in our TSB list. would like to print it to take along to dealer with me. anyone see it listed ??

most definately get the reflash done...

Don,

I used to have the EXACT same stalling problem with my truck. I was EXTREMELY frustrated. I talked to Andy at ADT, who in turn talked to Bill K. Bill also recommended that I have the 18-014-01 reflash done. The stalling was an issue with a custom set of injectors I used to have. They were equivalent to BD Step III-IV's. I had the 18-014-01 reflash done and all was well again. I do not have ANY stalling problems with my current BullyDog Step VII Injectors. I am sure the injectors are just fine.

Get the reflash done... you will be a happy camper again. I know I was/am. :)
