Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) engine start up problem

Thought maybe u guys could shed some light on this... ... I have a 02 HO when I start up the engine after it has sat over night or at least a while it misses / runs rough for about 2 to 3 seconds it has 4419 mi on it. It just started this 2 days ago after the initial start it is fine... ... . until it sits again



fuel pressure is good



no leaks or loose banjo bolts



change the fuel filter after the first 500mi



i hate to take it to the dealer for this if it is not necessary

If it's for only a couple seconds I really wouldn't worry about it.

I would at least....

make it known to the Dealer. This is what the warrany period is for.



Sounds like a small air leak in the fuel system to me.
