When my truck has sat a day or two, it starts with a rough idle, but clears right up. Injectors? Still getting good mpg, truck has 58k for miles on it. Ambient temp is in the mid 40's. Have had some rain lately... just trying to cover all my bases.

Any smoke out the exhaust when this is happening? If so what color? Check battery voltage next time before starting

I'll have to start it in the day time, as I usually start it to go to work at midnight. Voltage is very good. 14 volts plus. Batteries are around 2 years old. Thanks for the response.

Does it do the same thing if you start it every day? Multiple restarts during the day?

A rough idle with stock parts is not unusual if it isn't used frequently. As long as it clears up quickly and you see no other problems, drive and be happy.

Just does it on first start, if it has sat a couple of days. I'm getting around 17-18 mpg. I don't drive short trips either. 33 miles to work 1 way.
