Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Engine starts, then dies, then restarts

This just started happening last week. In the morning, my 12v will start right up, run for about a minute, then sputter and die like it's out of fuel. After several attempts, it will start up again and run fine, then no more problems the rest of the day. Next morning, same thing. Seems to be worse if the truck has been sitting for more than a day. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Probably small air leak. Fuel hoses usually. Next most likely suspect is the fuel heater.

I just last week had that same problem. You should replace booth your fuel and return lines with good fuel line. I bought fuel line from NAPA or you can buy from a Mercedes dealer, make sure you do not buy cheap line or you will be doing it again soon. The last time I replaced lines with NAPA fuel line they went over 110,000 miles until last week. The original factory lines only lasted 50,000 miles.
