My brother has an International Scout with a 1993 12V Cummins in it. The engine just stopped while going up a hill (about 5% grade). He was low on diesel so he put 5 gallons in it and tried to start it, but no luck. Checked out the fuel filter and he gets fuel out of the filter when he cranks it. He doesn't think it is the fuel shutoff solenoid, but isn't sure. What do you think? Bad injector pump, air in the lines (he will crack the fuel lines tomorrow)? If you have any thoughts, I'll pass them on to him...
