There is a lady her at work the has an 06 5. 9 6spd, and has been having problems with her engine surging in the mornings when it’s below 50 degrees outside. RPM’s drop and the engine stumbles at idle, and when she puts it in gear and drives it has no power and wants to die. No codes either….

She found that if she stops and restarts the truck all is fine.

The only mod she has on the truck is a Quad Box…It happened once before and she had the Quad Box reflashed, but this is the first time since then that the temps at her ranch have drop below 50. 48 this morning

Could this be the FCA???? Or maybe just a bad signal from the ECM, but why only when it’s below 50. The heater grids are cycling fine, she knows about that… Anybody else had this problem???

FWIW: She hasn't tried starting it with the Quad unhooked yet...
