Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) engine stumbles under load

I have a weird stumble like you turn the key off then back on and it dosen't leave any codes. I had a new recon vp44 installed at cummins power not long ago but this problem was perexisting. I'm wondering if the problem could be my TST Power programer ? I've had this problem for so long that I can't remember if I had it prior to my TST install. The truck has 143k on it and I wonder if there might be a bad sensor or something

By chance is it a 99 or 00 ???

Yes it is a 98 1/2 24 valve only mods are the tst programable kit and the k&n filter and the F. A. S. S. fuel system seems to me that it started to stumble after the tst was instelled.
