Archived Engine surging and loosing power??Help???

Alright. Just picked up the truck from Rep Brown. transmission is in. Fuel system is in. Turbo is on. Studs are in. Intercooler is in. Now here's the problem. First off, getting on the freeway, I jumped on it, got it from 60 to 90 as fast as it would go. Heard a "pop, pop, pop" sorta felt like the truck was defueling, but my EGTS were normal. Set off crank per. code. Cleared the code, and got back on the road. But now when I try to jump on it, at about 60MPH and high rpm's, the engine surges and I loose power. The sound is like a "phhh, phhh, phhh". Sounds like compressed air comming out of a hose. Of course both times when I heard the noise I backed off the throttle. Will get up to 80 no problem if I drive normal, but if I jump on it, at EGTS get to about 1110, I hear the noise and lose power. HELP? Rep thinks my injectors could be bad? Anyone offer some help I would appreciate it.

How is your boost?? pop off valve??

Boost is at about 35 give or take

Sounds like you have a boost leak. . Do you have the plastic intercooler?

Nope, just changed out to Mopar's Metal or Aluminum when I changed the turbo.

one of your hose clamps did not slip off the boost tubes did they. Mine did that once and the boot stayed in place but the clamp slid off. Another issue sort of like that was when my lift pump went south. Good luck with your truck.
