TDR discussion forum is the place to be. I just finiished towing a 40' toy hauler from Texas to California. It is 18000 gross but only had 14,500. Truck ran great and no problems. On a couple of grades my egt's reached 1350 before I let off and reduced speed. I learned different than I expected by reading the forum, cant wait to hold at 1350 to 1400. My question is on level 2 for towing on my edge juice I had some surging at about 1800 rpm while going through the gears, I thought that the clutch or transmission was having the problem. Its not the clutch because there is no slip. I turned off the edge and could accelerate as hard as I needed to climb and had no surging. Back to level 1-3 and again upon acceleration more surging. Has anyone experienced this type of problem? Thanks,,,,,,,, Dale

PS, anyone know how to change my profile? 2006, one ton, manual 6 speed, cummins brake, 4x4, edge w/attitude, ATS 4" exhaust, AFE air intake.

Sometimes I get a little surge such as the one you describe. It's not regular enough for me to expect it. Try messing with your "low boost fueling" and see what happens

That thing underneath your post isn't your "profile", it's your signature.
