Engine Swap in 91 W250

I have a 1991 Dodge W250 with a 5. 9 gas engine that's getting a little tired has anyone put a 6bt in one I'm trying to find out how big a job it will be. I was told that the automatic transmissions are the same is this true? It has a 727 trans in it. And what about motor mounts, vaccum for power brakes, and other acceseries like cruise contol and A/C ? Has anyone out there tried this?

transmission is diffrant you will have to hook up the computer if you want cruise on the cummins and you will have to trim back the rad supports

The power steering /vacuum pump is an assembly that should already be on the 6bt.

I would be best if you could find a complete donor truck . That way you would have all the wiring harnesses, grid heater parts, yada,yada.
