Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Engine temp rising

Noticed this and thought I would ask for opinions on this. . I notice my temp gauge rises to about 210-215 before settling back to 190. It does this only when I first start out driving for the day. The rest of the day it stays on 190. Could this be a stuck thermostat? Thanks

forgot to ad, 2000 3500 4X4 w/ 93000 miles. Bought it used with 72000 on it so don't know if it have been changed before.

NAPA has them too... I believe the part # is 370-180 for the 180° stat.
