Archived Engine Whine when releasing the throttle

My wife just called me, she says the CTD truck has a whine when she let up off the throttle, I am away for several months, so this is the tuff way to trouble shoot. She already try turning the Comp off but it still the same.



I just recently installed a scotty two in hush mode.



Hope it not the transmission?

Siliencer Ring is installed

Thanks for asking, the siliencer ring is installed, as I never removed it.



Probably the Scotty II??

My guess is that you're just now hearing what the turbo has been doing all along due to the new high flow air filter. Not having a filter inside the stock box makes it alot easier to hear the turbo spool up and spool down.



That's just one of the trade offs when you remove the stock box.



Sounds perfectly normal.
