Off-Road Magazine 85 ford 6bt swap

working on my conversion cummins/ford

I've read epa. state. oh. us "Modified Vehicles and Auto Emissions Testing" paper and US EPA " Engine Switching Fact Sheet".

Has anyone in Ohio TDR clubs read this? Can anyone go to these sites and see if they can make sense of this and tell me if I can do a 4bt engine swap in a newer model Dakota (~2000-2002)?

I have to have the 83 done this year the way it was explaned to me is that it has to be a prodution eng in a car / truck so that they have the numbers to check it with

in my case the will test the truck as an 92 dodge one ton with cummins ( thats what the eng is out of )

from my understanding the only reson I can do this is that I have the same factory gvw rating

I used to have the directors numbers to ohio e check I will try and find it George

I'm SOL on 4bta Dakota in Ohio?

I want this engine/truck combination so bad I can taste it. Am I gonna have to move out of state?:{ . Wonder if I can appeal this:-{} .

Anyone else have ideas?
