As I wait patiently for more reports and the build-up of modified ECMs for sale and distribution from Marco; I decide to identify my ECM and Smog programing for my truck. Low and behold there are no etchings in ANY of the columns! (Bought and paid for in Ca. ) I do have every other column filled; HP, RPM @ HP, yada, yada, yada. WTF? I guess the BOMB Gremlins erased my #'s. Guess I got one of the mystical "over-seas" engines.

Anyone close to SF Bay area with DRBIII to read version/program #. I will pay, just hate dealer. Mike

As I posted in the caTCHER thread, MY California truck has the tag about "meeting all California... " stuff too - and on the regular Cummins tag are *3* columns - Fel, Epa, and CARB. On mine, only the Fel column has any info marked - so I dunno what mine is, either...

Could the HO's be marked differently I wonder?

I have an 01. 5 from Mexico June 01. It's marked 245hp & has number etchjed in the EPA column. There sure are a lot of confusing differences going on.
