Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Has anyone tried this scanner on the 24V's. 1999 in particular?
For $120 it seems like a decent deal. No computer or software to mess with. Kragen even has a special for $129 right now.

It is not fancy and will not reprogram things. I am mainly concerned about checking for codes which would not set the check engine light as I have my EZ on. I am a bit confused as to the ECM/PCM interface and how it relates but I am learning. I am assuming that the codes which do not set the check engine light are in the ECM and the PCM does not know about them therefore no check engine light?
