Ford ? :-laf Wayne, let's help the poor man, he probably meant idling

On a more serious note, this sounds like an electrical problem w/ the ECM connectors, or a computer going nut, doesn't it? Dan

Ps: JMartz, give more details on your rig! (year, engine model, mods, etc)

yeah, idoling Dodge, needing $3500 for injectors for his Ford :-laf

Just kidding, he could have bought an '03 with high mileage, thus out of warranty. Just to be safe the dealer wants him to carry a spare set of injectors in the glove box :D

Get a new set from Piers?:D

Sounds like the ECM to me. Was in Canada a couple of weeks ago, temps in the 20's. Had my downloader in extreme mode, and started the truck. It idled really erratic for about 15 minutes. (Sounded like what you described). After a couple more days, and a few inches of snow, I decided to put it back to stock, and the idle was fairly smooth after a cold start. Can we get some more info on the truck? Year, mileage, mods, etc?

Jim
