Well I picked up a new Model semi truck at the hobby store. Its a Peterbilt 359 1/25 scale. Ertl was in the process of moving there manufacturing to over seas and also merged with another company. There was nothing to buy for a long time. Anyway cost is 30 bucks. They also that day just got two new International trucks. One is a dump truck the other is a cement mixer. Gonna get those later.

I've been Putting the Ertl model Semi trucks together since 88. Right now I have about 8 models still in the box with the wrapper still sealed. Some day I will get started on the assembly on these models but for now I'm basicaly a collector.

I used to build a lot of truck models when I was a kid, I think I built about all of the "AMT" models between 1972-1977 or so. I don't even think "AMT" makes truck models anymore. I always thought the "AMT" kits were better than the ERTL kits.

Built a few model cars, but diesel powered trucks were my favorite. I built some metal cars, don't remember who made the kits, a Packard, Model A, and a Dusenberg.

Don't have a one anymore, broken mostly by my younger brothers, and eventually trashed. :(
