Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) ES Optimax Extended Life Coolant

Anyone running this yet?? I'm looking at switching to this on the 14th or 15th. Compatible with the old and is rated for 4yr/600,000 with additives added at 2yr/300,000. Cummins sells the coolant and additives that goes in it and its a Fleetguard product so it's gotta be ok for the motor. I noticed they even make a Converter that converts our original green to extended life.



Whats your opinion?? Taking it to Cummins to do this as I don't want to worry about where I can take the old stuff for recycling.

I'm running it. It has been in for 2yrs and too early to tell if it is worth it.

I too have been running it for around 2 years. Radiator still looks like it was just off the showroom floor.
