Espar D5 heater and remote start

Has anyone used a trigger (either + or -) to activate the espar heater on their truck? I have a 7 day espar timer and am sure I still have unused triggers on my remote start. I just need to know what terminal on the timer to go to and whether it needs + or - to trigger it.

I'd like to know what you think of this..... I'm looking at it for some of my trucks and have read on the TDR that most folks are having problems with this unit... also would you share what its worth in Alberta... I have a warehouse in Edmonton and if it were cheaper there I'd pick it up and bring it back... .

I was able to resolve this. I'll post this in case someone in the future is looking for info. You need to use pin #7 on the 7 day timer and it needs ground (-) pulse to activate. Works like a charm.
