My mind is always thinking of new and better ways of heating my engine at temps that can hit -50f and colder.
With an Espar I can heat the coolant with out external power but the oil in the pan is stone cold. Only one half of the problem is solved. I was just thinking if you could run a pre-oiler constantly when the Espar is making heat. Does the pre-oiler flow thur the oil cooler? If it does then perhaps it could be done.
I know the stock set of batts won't be able to cope with this power draw & start the engine. I already have a second set of dual batts installed.
Ideas and thoughts appreciated. I don't know anything about pre-oilers other than what their purpose is.
