Sounds sweet. KLockliear can answer your questions and help you out.

ET/mph comments

Keith - 2wd, 5spd - launch in 2nd almost bogging the engine - DDUFM on 5x5 - not enough traction available to hammer it too hard. see profile for mods

Shrimpy - Yep, Evadale dragstrip - pretty good track IMHO - needs a few things to go big, but great setup for run-whacha-brung racing!

May not be the fastest thing around, but sent a couple of '02 Chevy 327ci p/u's away with tail-between-leg syndrone;) One of 'em has 3. 73 posi, automatic, programmer, headers and K&N intake. Not too shabby for a 195000 mi. oil burnin' 6-cyl work truck with PawPaw rowing a standard!

2WD stick... doesn't get any worse for drag racing. :) Might try leaving the box off until you get out of 2nd (your first gear), then hit the box. May help get the turbo up in boost and with the wheelspin.

Would you believe that I tried exactly what you suggested and could not get it to hookup? Tire-Smoke city!! Note the DDIII's give a pretty good kick even with the box off.

With the Cummins' torque - gotta catch the rpms & tires just right - either the engine bogs, or the tires have a meltdown!

(Just gotta figure out how to get enough superglue on the tires without the starter seeing me)
